*HOT* Walmart.com: Olay Gift Basket Moneymaker after Rebate!

by Kaley on October 21st, 2011

in Great Deals, Online Shopping

Right now you can score a HOT deal at Walmart.com on the Olay Spa Gift Set Caddy.  You can order one for only $9 (plus applicable tax) shipped PLUS it comes with a bonus 1 Year Subscription to Allure Magazine.

NOTE:  The prices came up as $10, but when I added the holiday gift set to my cart, the price lowered to $9.

Here’s the best part of the deal: you can opt to send in for a $9.99 rebate instead of ordering the Allure subscription, making this a moneymaker!

You will find the rebate/magazine subscription card in the bottom of the basket.  In the fine print it states:

“If you would prefer not to get a subscription, and instead prefer to receive a refund, please fill out the below form and mail within 30 days of purchase with your receipt. Offer valid until 6/30/12.”

What a fantastic way to score a FREE Christmas gift.

Hurry.  I’m guessing this won’t last long!

Thanks, Couponing to Disney!

I just did this deal. It came up at $10, not $9. Shipping was free and .73 cents in tax was added. I went through eBates for 2% cash back. So, with the $9.99 rebate it should come to .54 for this. Not better than free, but still an amazing deal!

Many of the Olay holiday gift baskets come with this magaznie/rebate offer–and they never sell out before Christmas–so try and remember to look for these during the 1-2 weeks of clearance after Christmas for an even better money maker.

Do you know if the magazine rebate is only one per household?

I’m not positive, Holly. It appears that the rebate form is also listed online here and I’m not seeing anything about limit 1 per household: http://condenastdirect.com/corp/allure/PGPromotion/

However, it might be best to assume that it is a limit of one just to be safe..

I thought the same thing, but this item ships for free.

I can’t find the option for a refund. Can I just place the order and print the rebate form from the link someone gave above or do I have to opt out of the magazine in order to qualify for the refund?

You’ll find the rebate/magazine subscription card in the bottom of the basket, Rachel and Krista. It will give you the option to opt out of the magazine and choose the refund instead.

I just got my basket today and it came with 4 coupons!! $2 – Olay body wash; $2 Secret Clinical; $2 Clairol hair color; $1 Olay facial moisturizer/cleanser.

Sending in the rebate is pretty straightforward — it’s all in the fine print :)

Did you receive an order confirmation email, Vicky? You should be able to track your order that way.

Does anyone still have the rebate address for this? I ordered the gift set a couple weeks ago and forgot to print off the address and now the website is unavailable.

Hi, Amber, Do you still still have the card that came with the gift set? Is there any other contact info on the card? Unfortunately, I don’t have a mailing address without the web-site.
