    Hi, Anna,

I think you miss the point of the Cha-Ching Challenge Highlight. It is simply meant to be a celebration of savings. I love highlighting those who stretch their hard-earned dollars and giving them an opportunity to be in the limelight for a day.

I understand your concern about nutrition, however, I think it was unncecessary for you to make Christina feel like she didn’t deserve to be highlighted simply because she happened to share some deals that contained sugar. (Did you see all of her other deals? Wow!)

I will gladly highlight those who have a more balanced shopping list. They simply need to enter the Cha-Ching Challenge. But, there are no pre-requisites to entering other than finding a great deal. I intend to keep things light and fun around here and all are welcome!

Hi — While her savings are impressive, and I know we make our own choices, I was a little surprised by the amount of soda and salty/sugary snacks in some of those shopping trips. That stuff is always on sale, because it’s made cheaply from ingredients that are heavily-processed. I wish that weren’t so, as it does no favors to anyone, esp those are too busy to focus on nutrition.

I wonder if you would consider highlighting those who save on a more balanced shopping list. I would be very impressed to see someone living on less and eating well.
