Here’s a heads up that you should print this $2/1 Nivea body wash coupon now!  Next week (week of 12/20), there will be an ECB deal at CVS that this coupon will turn into a moneymaker.  Once the word is out, the coupon will go fast.  Here’s what the deal will look like:

Nivea Body Wash, $5.99
Get $5 ECBs (Limit 1)

Use $2/1 printable coupon
$1.01 moneymaker after coupon and ECBs!

Thanks, Moms by Heart!

I read your comments on the discount stores, cvs ect. I would really like to know how someone gets any item for free. Where do you obtain the manufacture coupons? Has anyone every received coupons for steak, milk, eggs ects. These items are very expensive. Any words of wisdom for a beginner. Please Help.

      Hi, Cathy,

It does take a while to get the hang of drugstore shopping and can be overwhelming at first. If you begin to do these things, you will slowly begin to work toward getting free or nearly free items when you shop at drugstores:

      1) Begin saving the coupons from your weekly Sunday paper. You can clip them or follow my organizational system that I share here.

      2) Begin looking for deals in which you earn extra bucks (cvs), register rewards (walgreens), or single check rebates (rite aid) when you purchase certain items. You can find the weekly store deals for each of these stores, with the coupon match-ups (including printable coupons) on this blog. (Look on the right sidebar.) Save these to use at your next purchase at that store.

      3) As you save your coupons and your store rewards coupons, you will find that you can use them together to get great deals. You may not be able to get free items every week, but you will be surprised how often you will if you keep playing the game!

While coupons for steak, milk, and eggs are rare, I have seen them from time to time. Be sure to follow Cha-Ching on a Shoestring regularly because I will always alert you when I find great coupons like that. The good news though is that you may have a little extra money for items like this when you are saving money elsewhere!

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Welcome
