I have decided to begin posting a few Landis deals every week for my local readers. If this is a help to you, let me know and I’ll keep on posting.
From what I understand, Landis shares the same deals with Thriftway and Shop n Bag as well. If you shop at these stores, can you let me know if this is true? Thanks!
Note: Landis doubles coupons with a face value of up to $.99. (So if you have a $.75 coupon, it will automatically double to a savings of $1.50 at check-out.) Please note that coupons vary by region. Read all about my coupon lingo here.

I subscribe to the Souderton Idependent (as well as the Phila. Inquirer), and have started getting the RedPlum insert in the local paper the last couple weeks.
Also, thanks for posting Landis deals! Another tip…Landis offers “manager’s specials” on meats that are within a day of expiration. Cook that night or freeze when you get home, and save quite a bit.

Melanie,
Yep, that’s right. Different regions sometimes have different coupon values. Sometimes different papers in the same region carry different coupons as well. I usually buy the Philadelphia Inquirer because it carries better coupons. Unfortunately, they no longer carry RedPlum inserts now though. So last week, I bought a Philadelphia Inquirer and The Morning Call. The coupons weren’t as good in The Morning Call, but at least I got a RedPlum insert.

Thanks for letting me know that they will now accept them. My mother will be very glad as they tend to shop there and she likes to be able to save money too. Now I just have to cross my fingers that she will not have a hard time using them when she goes to the Harleysville store.

Coupon question-
I am wondering why there are 2 options on some of the coupons. Above reads “$.75/1 or $1/2 from SS 2/21” My SS has the $1/2, how do I get the $.75/1 or is that available just in certain areas?
Thanks!

Please continue to post Landis’ Sale Matchups! Thanks!!! 🙂

So happy to see you are posting Landis deals! I love their store’s but I usually can not afford to do my shopping there on a regular basis, but if I can get some good deals I will be there in a heartbeat! Thanks!!!

Thank you so much for posting Landis deals. I have been an avid coupon user for over 30 years and have done very well at Landis, as well as many other stores in the Harleysville, Lansdale, Pottstown, Quakertown, Pennsburg, Limerick areas..LOL I have loads in stockpiles too, so I know what coupons can do for you. Thanks for having this wonderful blog, sometimes it helps just to look at someones blog and find the deals, instead of trying to find them yourself. Happy Shopping..

Actually you need to double check about the printable coupons – they were having problems with coupon fraud and didn’t accept them for a little while. I have been using printable coupons at Telford and Harleysville for months. I’ve also heard they are opening on Sundays in about 2 months – from an employee.
K. Anne says
Landis in Harleysville will not accept printable coupons. I do not know if the one in Telford will.

Thank you so much for posting Landis deals. I love to shop at Landis because the employees are friendly and helpful, the store is spotless, and I feel inspired to cook when I leave. I agree with the other comments that it is pricier, so I’m careful what I buy. Their gas points program is better than Giant because the points never run out, so getting the deals every week will keep those gas points coming!
Alison says
I don’t get to shop Landis often. Mainly due to the fact that they aren’t open on Sunday and that is when we tend to do the most of our grocery shopping. I will try to get there this week for some of the posted deals, but would love to see them open on Sunday. (I know, nothing you can control…lol)

Thank you so much!! I shop at Landis weekly and if you shop from the circular with matchups you can make out really well! I do not shop Giant but look at their ads to compare – when you look at sale items Landis has similiar sales if not better on many items. And the employees are much better to deal with!
Devon says
Very cool to see someone doing Landis matchups- even cooler to see that you can actually get some great deals there. I don’t EVER shop at Landis b/c I feel there prices are so high- this might change my mind! 🙂
Melanie says
Thanks Kaley! That was a quick post! I am definately going to try some of these deals. I too love the employees and what the Landis’ business stands for. You do have to learn how to shop the circular.
Kim says
Great idea! Landis is more expensive than the other stores and the circular is SO difficult to get through b/c it’s so long, so confusing and takes way too much time! I tend to toss it as soon as I get it. The good thing about the store is that the employees are wonderful. I always feel good when I walk out of this store (which I have to say isn’t often due to the circular issue). I’ve heard they are going to open on Sunday’s now. Not sure when that is going to begin but it’s something to keep in mind. Thanks for posting Landis. I think this will get more people in the store!
Alison says
It’s great to see someone posting Landis deals! You must be pretty local to me, since there aren’t too many Landis stores around! I do most of my shopping at Giant, but try to get to Landis for better deals, but I don’t always have the time to search the ads of both stores!
Thanks so much for making it easier to save money!
