Ok…so it’s been a while since I’ve had a CVS brag post, so I hope you don’t mind if I share my latest CVS haul.
I just got all this for $.54!
Plus I received $5 in ECBs for my next trip.
Plus I will get $3 in my Upromise account for the Huggies.
This is what I call a MONEYMAKER! Can I get a CHA-CHING?!
You know how somedays the wind is blowing in the right direction and the stars are all aligned and everything goes off without a hitch? Today was one of those days. They don’t happen all the time, so I try to take great delight in them when they do.
Here’s the breakdown:
Transaction #1:
3 Listerine @ $1.99 ea.
Used $3/3 CVS web coupon (no longer available)
Used 2 $1/1 printable coupons (no longer available)

I purchased the three Visine at another CVS at $1.99 each and used $2/1 printables (no longer available) and a $2/1 from RP 3/14.
On a side note: I also purchased two bags of Easter candy and some plastic eggs in this transaction and paid $2.72. That would be about FOUR TIMES as much as what I paid for everything else. This just made me chuckle.
Thanks for letting me share! What kind of HOT deals have you scored lately? We wanna know!

The district manager called me today. He seemed very confused and I believe that he had me confused with another issue regarding another customer. He said he would have the store manager called me. The store manager did call me about an hour later. She said there IS a coupon limit (beleived to be 4) BUT the cashier simply needs to call a manager to over-ride it. She made it seem as if this was recently added to their register system. She said for me to bring the receipt and the additional coupons in and she would refund the total of the coupon.

how do you use two huggies “manufacturer” coupons in one transaction? i thought there’s a limit to one coupon per purchase. how do i get the cvs coupon for the huggies? thanks!
kaleyehret says
May,
You can use one manufacturer’s coupon per item. So if you have two packages of Huggies, you can use two manufacturer’s coupons.
My CVS Huggies coupon just randomly printed for me at the red coupon printer at the front of the store (not all stores have these–you can ask if yours does.) Not everyone will get this coupon though. Mine actually said it was for a box of Huggies. I asked if that meant I could use it on any Huggies package, so he scanned it and it went through!

so I called their customer care. The gentleman that I talked to was very friendly. He said he would forward all the information I provided him to the district manager and I can be expecting a call from the district manager in 1-2 business days. He tried calling the store but the manager that was on duty at the time I was in there was no longer there. I will let you know how it turns out. I’m very disappointed as this was an additional $6 in coupons, but happy they were friendly enough to try to make it right. We will see….

Good job, Sherri!

when I went to cvs today, i had 9 items and after the third coupon, they said I had “reached the coupon limit”. They were all manufacturer coupons and I only had 1 per item, so what did I do wrong? I couldn’t argue with them either because I was on my lunch break at work, but the cahier and the manager both said I had reached “the coupon limit”. Is there such a thing?
kaleyehret says
Oh my, Sherri. I’ve never heard that one before! You should absolutely be able to use one manufacturer’s and one store coupon per item.
If I were you, I would call the CVS headquarters and let them know about this. Their number is: 1-800-SHOP-CVS
Hopefully they will be able to help you! Let me know how it goes.

I have been looking every where for the travel size Visine..where did you find it in your store?
kaleyehret says
Chrystal,
It was at the front near the registers. I didn’t see it at the first store, but then lo and behold, there it was at the next one!
chrystal says
Like behind the counter with the tobacco products or by the candy….I looked up at the front of my store and in a neighboring town…no luck!!!
kaleyehret says
They were hanging on the counter near the registers. Do you have a Rite Aid? They are supposed to carry these as well.
