Remember my true confessions post a few weeks ago when I admitted that even I occasionally fall off the wagon and pay full price for things?  Remember how I bought those capris at Gap for a price that I’m embarrassed to say out loud because I could have bought four or five (or six or seven) pairs at a thrift store for the same amount?

Remember how I really liked the pants?

Guess what my husband got me for Mother’s Day?

Yep.  The same pair of capris.  In a different color.

Somehow he purchased them right under my nose when we were at the Gap the other night. (Yes–I went to the mall twice in one month!  What is this world coming to?!)

We checked and they were still not on sale.  He told me I should buy another pair since I wear these every other day.  I refused.

{Instead, I bought a shirt for $1.97 and a sweater for $2.97.  This is where you applaud wildly.}

That sneaky guy bought me another pair.

I love him.
