My Target Trip: Costumes 75% Off and Glade Candle Deal Gets Better!

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I found Halloween costumes on clearance for 75% off today at Target!  I was especially excited because my son has been asking for a Dash costume (from The Incredibles) and we found one for $5!

I can’t promise that every story will have these at 75% off yet, so you may want to call ahead to be sure.

I also snagged the Glade Candle deal while I was there.  There was no sign and the offer did not even show up when I used the price scanner. But when the cashier rang them up, that pretty little $5 gift card popped right up on her screen!

The deal was even better for me–they were priced at $2.50.  This may be a regional offer, but here is what it would look like:

Buy six Glade Holiday Jar Candles @ $2.50 each
Use three B1G1 Glade Jar Candle 9/26/2010 SS Insert (exp 11/6/2010)
Use one $1.50/2 Glade Scented Oil Candle Products (if you store allows this) OR
Use one $3/3 Glade Products (if you store allows this)
Possible moneymaker after coupons and gift card!

If you have more coupons, you can score an even better deal.

They still had plenty of costumes and the bath towels were 75% off too. I snagged a few for .98 – $1.48, YAY!

The good news was mine was at $2.50 each too. The bad news was that because of the gift cards (I think), they didn’t credit me the full BOGO price. I bought 10 and tried to use 5 BOGO mfc coupons. The register would only accept 4, and the 4th one came up as $1.10. It was still pretty good, but not as good as I hoped.

Which Target was this? I’m heading out tomorrow, but I’m afraid everything will be gone. I just couldn’t get there today 🙁

It was in the Quakertown, PA Target. There was still quite a nice selection as of today.

That’s the one I typically go to. I went to Montgomeryville yesterday and they were at 50% off. I had a feeling that today was going to be the day. Oh well, I’ll just head there 1st thing tomorrow and hope that they still have some goodies left. Thanks for the heads up!
