My favorite bday memories are when my father was still alive to celebrate them with me. Getting a card the first year after he died from my mother without his name was hard but I know each and every bday he is with me in spirit. : )

My favorite birthday memory was my 16th…we had an oldies themed party with poodle skirts, saddle shoes, greased hair…the works. We went bowling and I got a birthstone ring from my parents…it was a diamond.

My favorite birthday memory was my 18th birthday. I got my ear pierced and felt so grown up. Then, I went out to dinner with my friend that I always wanted to be my boyfriend and he told me he would miss me when I went off to college and kissed me on the cheek. We dated for 5 years!

Happy Birthday!!
Thanks for being so generous!
When I was 13, my birthday was over a weekend that we had a soccer tournament. I thought we wouldn’t get to celebrate it until the next weekend but my dad (who was also my coach) planned a surprise birthday party that Saturday night with some of my teammates! It was so special because I knew we were supposed to be “resting” and my dad let us have fun anyway!

My favorite birthday was actually my youngest son’s first birthday. I let him dig in the cake and make a huge mess and then hosed him off in the shower!

a few years ago my hubby surprised me with tickets to the local AA baseball team and he and my 4 year old daughter took me. Bonus – he walked around the stadium with her so i could watch the game.

November 5th too! So cool!
Follow on Facebook. My favorite birthday memory? This would have to be last year. It was extra special because it was my 1st birthday as a mother. I was always told that I would never be able to carry a child full term or would have problems getting pregnant at all and here I am today, with my very own daughter who’s 17 months and am 17 weeks pregnant again! This is what makes my birthday special to me!
Happy Birthday to all you November 5th ladies! =) Have a great day!
