I have brain fog with lack of sleep, so I will just give my latest birthday memory from about a week ago! I enjoyed going to Panera Bread for the first time with my husband, and then out to Coldstone Creamery for my free birthday icecream.

My best birthday memory is going to visit my dad in VA on my 13th birthday. He took me up the mountains and taught me how to drive an old pick up truck. It was very special because it was the first time I spent with him since I was 8. I was really hurt when my parents divorced and he moved out of state so I didn’t talk to him for years. Since my 13th birthday we have become as close as any father daughter could be and I am now 43. Getting ready to take my daughter to VA for Thanksgiving!

Its not really a favorite memory, but its one that everyone talks about. I was six and my family went to eat at an ice cream parlor. People started singing happy birthday to me and I put my head on the table and cried. Dont know why, but I did. Havnt lived it down since.
