On my 25th birthday I was really sick because I was pregnant with twins. I couldn’t do anything other than lay around. My husband went out and bought me the most adorable finchs. I got to watch them fly around their birdcage and listen to them sing and that really helped me deal with being so sick.

I think my favorite birthday memory was when I turned 21. No, this doesn’t involve going out drinking! lol My dad and I would go to the beach for the same week every summer. The year I turned 21, he gave some excuse that we couldn’t go that Saturday but would go Sunday instead. The reason we couldn’t go? He threw a surprise party for me and invited my closest friends from college! We had a great time. And it was the first time some of my friends had homemade ice cream.

My favorite birthday memory is actually not of MY birthday, but my twin boys. They turned one in August and we had the family together. Just weeks later my grandpa(age 90) passed away. I’m just thankful he got to love my boys before he passed.

My favorite birthday memory was when my husband-to-be (at the time) took me dancing on my 21st birthday.

One of my favorite birthday memories was when I turned 16. I had a party at my best friend’s house and all of my family and my friends were there. It was great!

I have to say, the most memorable birthday for me would be my “40th” . I live in The Poconos in PA. Most of my extended family surprised me, by coming from NYC geared up in their snow outfits. (Yes, my birthday is in the winter). They dragged me to one of many mountaintops to go snowtubing. Can u imagine about 30 crazy Puerto Ricans on a mountain top, tieing all their tubes together. Needless to say, I enjoyed every second of it.
