I do have to say I was skeptical at first about these money makers but I’m sold!
I happened upon 4 copies of the P&G 10/31 insert this week and decided to try my first money maker from this site today. It turned out even better than I could have imagined.
I visited visited 4 separate Rite Aids in my area for the Crest/ Oral-B money maker, it sounds like a gas guzzling trip but here in South Jersey Rite Aid’s are within blocks of each other.
For my time, I received four 4oz Crest Whitening Plus Scope Outlast tubes of toothpaste and four Oral-B Cross Action Vitalizer toothbrushes not only for free but Rite Aid paid me to reduce their inventory.
At each store I paid cash and bought one toothpaste and one toothbrush. I used a $1/1 coupon for each item and for some reason my Up Rewards did not print on my receipt at each of the four stores. The clerk called the Manager over and after the Manager could not get it to print, they refunded my money in cash, all four times and gave me the products.
Here is the breakdown of my transactions
Crest toothpaste $2.99
Oral-B toothbrush $2.99
NJ 7% sales tax $0.42
P&G $1/1 Crest coupon -$1.00
P&G $1/1 Oral-B coupon -$1.00
Total paid in cash $4.40
All four Rite Aid managers handled the non-printing Up Rewards the same way they refunded my money and gave me the products for free but neglected to actually read my original receipt. The products along with my coupons and tax came to a total of $4.40.
When the manager refunded my cash they rang up the two items at the original price not taking into count the 2 coupons I used. My refund was $6.40, so I made $2 cash at each Rite Aid!
After all was said and done I returned home with 4 tubes of toothpaste, 4 toothbrushes and an extra $8 in my pocket.
