Cha-Ching challenge

Welcome to the weekly Cha-Ching Challenge!

Did you find a HOT deal this week that you just want to share?  You’ve come to the right place!  Every week I post the Cha-Ching Challenge, sharing my savings for the week.    Add a link to your post detailing your savings for the week OR your favorite deal of the week. I’ll choose one participating blog to highlight next week right here on Cha-Ching on a Shoestring.

Add your links to Mr. Linky at any time.  In order to be considered for the Cha-Ching Challenge Highlight, just be sure to add your link no later than Tuesday at midnight EST.

Check out my savings for the week below:

Confession Time: As I was looking through my receipts to write this post, I found a $3 catalina coupon that expired in February.  I don’t know about you, but that’s enough to ruin my whole day.

But then, I took a step back and gave myself some grace.  We have had an incredibly busy January and February this year and up until this week, my head has been spinning with my to do list.  It’s a wonder I even made it to the grocery store!

The same goes for you.  Give yourself grace when life gets too full and there isn’t enough time in the day to clip coupons, let alone use them.  Take a week (or two!) off, then start fresh.  It will do your frugal heart wonders!

I didn’t get a chance to post last week, so these are my savings from the past two weeks:

Savings from coupons and store sales: $69.14

  • I spent $53.47.  I saved $69.14.

Savings from ‘Free Money’: $10

  • I purchased some birthday presents on Amazon using my Swag Bucks.

TOTAL SAVINGS: $79.14

TOTAL SAVINGS THIS YEAR: $1041.98

Registration is still open for those who like to take surveys and possibly test FREE products!

Thank you for posting that. I too found a catalina from the grocery store that when reorganizing my purse by which I was totally bummed ($5). I am still a newbie therefore I have gone from a envelope, coupon organizer, to the binder within 3 months. I had to take a step back because as I was slow on my schedule and snowed in, I found lots of time to this. Now we are entering spring season with sports and things are hectic. I switched to the no clippin folder system for now. I save more by having them in the binder but the folder system is a better way with crazy schedules. Thanks….for posting!
