Cha-Ching challenge

Welcome to the weekly

Cha-Ching Challenge Highlight!

I am pleased to announce our
Cha-Ching Challenge Highlight Winner.

This week’s highlight is Money Saving Mode!

Julie writes:

I’m married without kids. I have Fibromyalgia and we spend a lot on healthcare expenses (even after insurance). We do our best to cut expenses elsewhere. I am always trying to improve my situation, whether it’s by cutting our expenses or by learning more about my illnesses (in order to feel better). I enjoy blogging and try to use this as my means to share what I learn.

Check out her post sharing how she has saved 71.34% this month on groceries and drugstore items.  Sounds like you are doing GREAT at cutting expenses in this area, Julie!

Hey, Thanks for the mention! We are doing great and it just gets better each month. We ended March (our budget runs in 4 weeks) having spent $212.39 and having saved $461.05 (for a savings rate of 71.34%).

We just made some major changes to our diet in the last couple of weeks that involve us eating a LOT more fresh produce, so it’ll be interesting to see how that affects things. My hubby said we could increase the grocery budget but I’m on a mission to do this within the same budget we’ve had.

Welcome
