Last week was such a busy week that I forgot that we had a reason to CELEBRATE!! On April 20, 2009, I introduced Cha-Ching on a Shoestring to the world. Sigh…she’s grown up so fast.
I celebrated her birth with a flower giveaway then, so I figured what better way to celebrate her two year birthday then to hold another great flower giveaway?! (Not to mention Mother’s Day is less then TWO weeks away!)
I am so excited to offer a $50 ProFlowers Gift Code to one lucky Cha-Ching on a Shoestring reader!
I had the opportunity to choose my own bouquet from ProFlowers as a part of this giveaway. What a difficult decision! I spent a good deal of time drooling over looking through their beautiful selection of Mother’s Day Flowers and other bouquets. I finally opted to get the gift that keeps on giving and settled on a Potted Pink Calla Lily plant. It was a lovely addition to our Easter decor.

Ohhh…they are all so pretty. I am a huge fan of the simple gerbera daisies, but I would choose the brownie pops for my mom! Funny story now…because they turned out OK…but my parents drove to a football party in Philly a few years ago (something they have never done before but my dadjust retired and he liked the host/former coworker). They thought the brownie muffins were so good and ate a few. My mom’s sweet tooth got the best of her and she ate 3. Needless to say, they had a hard time getting home and didn’t know why they felt funny and sick. My mom ended up in the hospital bc she thought she was having another heart attack. One look at my parents in the hospital room and I knew they were HIGH as a KITE! They didn’t know it and I had to choke back my laughter and pull the doctor aside to give MY PARENTS A DRUG TEST! It was positive, of course, and while we were/are angry at the host for not telling my poor innocent parents about his secret ingredient, it has become a family laugh. Ordering those brownies no matter what…LOL
