You guys know how much I love Aldi, so I’m very excited about this next giveaway!

Just in time for the Holidays, Aldi has released their online Holiday catalog.  It is filled with all kinds of great sale prices on gourmet cheeses, fine chocolates, toys, gift ideas, groceries, and more.  Aldi is known for their vast selection of grocery items priced at 50% less than traditional supermarkets.  You can get everything you need for that Holiday dinner or party, and even shop the Holiday catalog to snag some extra savings on seasonal items.

Click here to find an Aldi store near you.

And to help you save even more, Aldi is offering two lucky readers a $25 gift card.

Here’s how to enter:

You have up to four possible methods of entry:

  • Go take a look at the Aldi Holiday Catalog and leave a comment sharing what you would buy with your $25 gift card.
  • Subscribe to this site in a reader or by e-mail and leave a comment letting me know you subscribed.  If you are already a subscriber, simply let me know in a comment.
  • Follow me on twitter. Leave a comment on this post letting me know you are a follower.
  • “Like” Cha-Ching on a Shoestring on facebook and leave a comment on this post letting me know.  If you are already a fan, simply let me know in a comment. (I love comments on the facebook page as well, but those will not count toward the giveaway!)

Note: Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this post to leave your comments.  (If you are reading this is an e-mail click here to do so.) By leaving a separate comment for each entry you will have a greater chance of winning!  E-mail responses will not be considered as an entry in the giveaway.

This giveaway ends at 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, December 9, 2011. I will randomly select the winning comments. Winners will be notified by email and listed on this site.

Disclaimer: Aldi provided two $25 gift cards for the winners of this giveaway.  No compensation was received.

I am an email subscriber. I love Aldi, however, I would use the gift card to purchase something for a needy family. We have many in our area in this slow economic time. Our family has been fortunate and it really feels good to help out other people. Diane

I’d use it for the regular groceries I usually buy there– lame, but true– but I’d also throw in several packages of their chocolate coins for my children’s stockings, because their chocolate beats the waxy American stuff any day of the week.

There is a family of five that lives on my street and they are the most giving and kind folks. The father has lost his job and it’s tough as we all know to make it day-to-day. Now, I know I need it also, because I recently got on food stamps, got out of the hospital for cellulitis on both my legs, walk with a cane, and live with a mentally abusive boyfriend. But, through it all, I smile to make others happy, because I’ve always been that way. Don’t get me wrong,I cry sometimes and do the “feel-sorry-for-myself-routine”, but I would be the happiest person this christmas knowing they would recieve the gift of $25.00 rather than I. It means nothing to me, except a smile on their faces and one in my heart. God Bless, for real to whomever wins it. Please consider YOUR situation and “give” this year, rather than recieve,it really is the best feeling in the world and the REAL reason for this season. Sorry, I got long, just had it on my heart! 🙂
