The Nielsen Home Scan Consumer Panel is once again accepting applicants from certain zip codes. NO land line is required, which is awesome.
This is a really nifty way to make an extra little chunk of change. If you get accepted, you’ll receive a scanner to scan in all your purchases. You provide valuable feedback as a consumer, and you get rewarded with points for doing so. You can trade in your points for gift cards (which can be used to buy gifts for people. Think Christmas budget.)
And it’s fun for the whole family. Kids love to help scan in products while the parents put everything away. Head over here to read some comments left by readers who have participated in the program.
Note: We actually received a scanner last year and ended up sending it back. It was right after our move and I just didn’t feel I had the time to devote to it at that time. The nice part is that it was easy to send back and Nielsen paid the return shipping.
