I’ve decided that Aldi is my HERO during these crazy, hazy newborn days. I did another mad dash through the store the other day with two little ones in tow. (Thankfully, the little one slept the whole time!) I just love that I don’t have to comparison shop while I’m there and that I can save money even without using coupons.
I did make a quick trip to Landis as well…mostly because I could score Breyers ice cream for only $0.88!
We still have some of the freezer meals that were given to us after the baby was born, so I just needed to shop for a few basics this week.
Savings from coupons and store sales: $41
- Aldi: Spent $37.82. Saved about $20. (Highlights were pineapples for $0.99, bread for $0.69 and carrots for $0.99.)
- Landis: Spent $15.18. Saved $21. (Highlights were $0.88 Breyers ice cream and Miracle Whip for $0.99.)
TOTAL SAVINGS:$41
TOTAL SAVINGS THIS YEAR: $1689.59
