I go to Target back-to-school clearance every year and stock up. Also, I like Office depot for their free-after rebate school items. I use with the rebate to buy printer ink.

Shop the sales and stock up if possible. Pens and paper are always useful. Some places even offer free or low low cost items once you spend a certain amount.

My tip is to organize all the school supplies you have in the house already – that way you may not have to buy so many.
