Grilling is one of my absolute favorite summer past-times.
So when Walmart challenged me to create my best BBQ on a budget incorporating Walmart’s new USDA Choice steaks, I was all in.
It was easy to decide which marinade to use. We have a favorite that simply calls for 3 ingredients (well, 4 if you count the water):
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
2 Tbsp. Water
1 Tbsp. Red Wine Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Montreal Steak Seasoning
Mix together and marinade with 1 lb. of Walmart USDA steaks for at least half an hour.
Our sides were simple: oven fried zucchini (from our garden) and our favorite summer salad mix: lettuce, strawberries, feta and peanuts.
And yes–it was as delicious as it looks.
Did you know?
- Walmart selects the best USDA Choice cuts, tender-ages the steak to perfection, and, as we do with all our steaks, makes sure it undergoes rigorous USDA inspections for quality and safety.
- Walmart is so confident that you’ll love their top quality USDA Choice steaks that they offer a 100% Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee. If you aren’t fully satisfied, just bring back your receipt for your money back.
- Only 1 in 5 steaks qualify for Walmart’s USDA Choice Premium Beef label.

I have noticed that A LOT OF PEOPLE ; DO NOT, CAN NOT, WILL NOT wait for the charcoal is completely ready. When most of the charcoals are white; that is time to put the food on the grill. Usually any steak is my favorite; as long as the blood is not running!

The most helpful thing for me when we are grilling is to have everything ready to go outside so that you don’t have to keep going in and out of the house. This way you can enjoy a great time of fellowship while everythings cooking!!
