Android: Search for Redbox in the play store then download the app. Then text RBPLAY to 727272 to receive your free rental code via text.
Apple Device: Go here to download the app. Then text RBAPP to 727272 to receive your free rental code via text.
Note: You will need to use the code by reserving a movie through the Redbox App or online.

Doesn’t work I tried it both ways also
These codes don’t work. I’ve tried both the RBPLAY and RBAPP (thinking that maybe it was one code not the other) and neither of them work. They come back with “We’re not sure what you’re trying to do: Reply with a valid keyword”
