My husband has participated in the panel and we have always been impressed with how quickly they compensated him after a survey. We also were given the opportunity to be sample a full size product and were paid $3 for completing a survey about our experience.

I read the privacy policy before giving any of my personal info to Pinecone (owned by Nielsen). It states that: by saying you agree to the privacy policy (which it appears you must to join), you agree to let Pinecone (IE- Nielsen) collect data from ALL of your household members- including minors- and may disperse it for pinecone’s (Neilsen’s) needs to countries outside the US, including Europe, etc. I’m not so sure I want to give my and my entire household’s personal info out to international entities for $3 a survey or free products. Something’s rotten in Denmark here, as the saying goes.
All surveys are optional though, Burma. If there were any surveys you didn’t feel comfortable doing, you could just skip them. Hope that helps!
I wasn’t accepted. Found out only after I had given them all of my information. That was a little annoying.
