Right now you can score a FREE $75 credit at Jetsetter.com (a daily deals travel site).
Here’s how:
- Create a Jetsetter account. This will add $25 credit to your account.
- Then log out and then click on this link and log back in
- An additional $50 credit will automatically be added to your account. (Note: I’ve read elsewhere that you may have to sign in with a different browser (FF, IE, etc.) for this to work. I used Firefox for both and it worked for me.)
I’m pretty excited about the idea of saving $75 on a possible travel destination. If any of my local readers are wanting to get away for a night, I noticed that there is a deal on the Sofitel Hotel in Philly right now. Jetsetter is offering a discount of $40, making it $115/night. PLUS with the $75 discount, you can book a one night stay for only $40 (plus taxes and fees). Score!! (Think Valentine’s Day!)
Hurry. I’m not sure how long this offer will be available!
Thanks, Common Sense with Money!

I got the $25 credit but when I logged back in it said the promo has expired. Oh well.
Michelle says
Thanks! I was already a member (unbeknownst to me) but it still gave me the $50 credit when I signed back in!

Lori, did you create a new account? The $25 credit will only show up for new accounts.
Anyone else having the same issue?
kaleyehret says
I’ve also read elsewhere that credits can take up to several hours to show up in your account.
Lori says
Didn’t work. It says you will get a $25 credit when someone you refered books a trip. I signed back in and nothing happened. I didn’t get either credit. Everytime I sign in they want me to refer someone.

I got the $25 credit, then I logged off and clicked through to the second link for the holiday gift. It said I got the $50, but it hasn’t shown up in my account yet.
kaleyehret says
It took several minutes for my credit to show up. Has it shown up for you yet?

I just found out that Jetsetter and Gilt are one in the same company. If someone is already has a GILT account they cannot make a new account with Jetsetter.
kaleyehret says
Did you try, Lisa? I have a Gilt account and it let me sign up for Jetsetter and get the $25 credit.
