Cha-Ching challenge

Welcome to the weekly Cha-Ching Challenge!

Did you find a HOT deal this week that you just want to share?  You’ve come to the right place!  Every week I post the Cha-Ching Challenge, sharing my savings for the week.    Add a link to your post detailing your savings for the week OR your favorite deal of the week. I’ll choose one participating blog to highlight next week right here on Cha-Ching on a Shoestring.

I am taking a break from posting my deals this week since it’s Memorial Day weekend and we currently have 5 house guests, so things are a little crazy around here!  I’d still love to hear about your deals though, so leave a comment or link up!

HOW DID YOU DO? Did you find any great deals? Leave a linky and let us know!  Be sure to link directly to your weekly savings or great deal post.

Feel free to copy and paste the button above into your post and link back here so that others can join in the fun!

I have barely used any coupons this last month, it’s so crazy! Luckily I have a nice-sized stockpile to tide us over. 🙂

I went shopping this past Thursday the 26th with coupons for the Tornado victims. First I raided my stockpile and my donation stack and then I went shopping. Walgreen’s, CVS, and Walmart (I have to say all the stores were extremely generous when they found out I was doing boxes for the Tornado victims.) I managed to get 50 boxes together.
This was such a blessing to be able to send this much on to those in need. Stop by if you can help http://www.glosssymoney.com
Free samples , trial sized, any little bit helps ( a small priority box will hold a ton of trial and samples and it only cost $5.20 to ship!) I did the large boxes but the medium sized boxes will hold a very large amount as well.

Last week I linked up the Butterball I managed to get a 15lb bird for $14.00 I turned it into 6 meals for us and one additonal meal for our friends. How great is that ! Even with all the side dishes and extras to make all of the 6 meals I only spent $19.00 for six meals. This week I am going to do a large pork roast and make a ton of pulled pork for our BBQ on Monday! The meat this week was a 14lb sized portion and it was available for $1.49 lb manager special to .89 per lb! I am so excited with this and my .17 corn and our guest bringing the sides we are set!

It was a busy, busy week for us, so my deals were slow. Enjoy your weekend!
