Savings from coupons and store sales: $88.32

  • Rite Aid: Saved $6.08. I actually made $.89 on this Maybelline mascara deal!
  • Giant PA: Saved $60.08. I had a sweet week due in large part to my DiGiorno House Party.  The cashier looked at me a little fun when I handed over all those free pizza coupons!  I scored several totally free items as well.
  • CVS: Saved $22.16.  Scored that great deal on Pepsico products.

Savings from ‘Free Money’: $1.75

  • Wes and I made around $1.25 this week from YouData–are you all checking your accounts?
  • Made $.50 in my Upromise account from the No Yolks deal.

Savings from cutting costs: $65

  • I actually scored a haircut last week for only $2.99!  There is a new store in the area and they are offering the deal as a promo.  Not only that, but I actually like the cut!
  • I hit a thrift store yesterday hoping to score some cute clothes for Blissdom (more on that later).  I actually got a pair of jeans for $1.25, a cardigan sweater for $1.25, and some PJ’s for $2.  (January is half off month).  Can you say Sa-WEET?!

TOTAL SAVINGS:$155.07

TOTAL SAVINGS THIS YEAR: $272.32

By the way, can I just say I’m loving looking through all of your posts?!  It’s getting harder and harder each week to choose one of your blogs to highlight you’re all doing such a great job!

Not much saving this week…but that’s because there wasn’t much spending either!

  • Giant: Spent $25.15.  Saved $3.64. (Almost paid $3 more than I should have.  Always check receipts!)
  • Rite Aid: $14.07.  Saved $24.50.  Will receive $12 back in rebates.

You’ll be amazed that she’s only been couponing for a little over a year when you check out her post sharing how she saved a total of 83% on her shopping trips last week!  I’m super impressed.

  • Aldi: Spent $88.11 (should cover us into next week).  Saved $20.00.  (Since Aldi doesn’t accept coupons, I usually just factor in about a $20 savings when I do my grocery shopping there.)
  • Walmart: Spent $3.49.  Saved $0.  (Bought milk!)

Savings from ‘Free Money’: $11.99

TOTAL SAVINGS:$35.48

TOTAL SAVINGS THIS YEAR: $117.25
