THE BIG GIVE

I hope you all were as encouraged by THE BIG GIVE as I was.  I was so blessed by those who participated in giving even when it’s not an easy time to give.  Many of you found creative ways to give, such as collecting recyclables to help fund a Thanksgiving feast for a needy family.  Others gave from your couponing abundance.  Others chose to give away toys, clothing and other items that you already own as a way of downsizing.

Every gift touched someone’s life. I hope each of you were blessed and impacted by that.

THE BIG GIVE

I am LOVING reading your submissions for THE BIG GIVE!   I really think that there is not much more beautiful than GIVING in action.

I wanted to give you an update on how my BIG GIVE project is going.  I have been having lots of fun putting together a meal for a local woman that could use a little encouragement.  Watch the video for my latest update!

As you may know, I offer many giveaways on this site.  I cannot think of a better reason to hold a giveaway than as a way to promote the cause of GIVING.

This week, I am encouraging you to consider how you can GIVE to someone  or a cause in need.   Gather together the best of your stockpile or even consider making a special trip to put together a bag of  food that will complete someone’s Thanksgiving table.  Or if money is tight, consider donating TIME to help a neighbor, a friend, or a local charity.  This giveaway is not about the amount given…but what an impact we can have when we all give together!
