Note:  If you shop at Thriftway and Shop n Bag, they share a very similar ad with Landis.  However, most Thriftway and Shop n Bag stores do not accept internet coupons.

  • Spent $37.83

Savings from ‘Free Money’: $9.01

  • This was a simple way of saving, but it was fun so I’ll share it.  I found a coupon in my paper several weeks ago for a FREE McCafe Frappe at McDonald’s.  It was only valid July 1-4, however.  I was so excited when I remembered to use mine yesterday.  Plus, I have two more that Wes and I are going to use today!  That’s about $6 of yummy savings!
  • Wes got paid another $3 for a Pinecone survey.
  • We earned $.01 from YouData!  (Hey–I always say every penny counts, right?!)

TOTAL SAVINGS:$156.54

TOTAL SAVINGS THIS YEAR: $2555.42

I went to Target today to take advantage of some great deals.  I took a picture, but my camera has decided not to cooperate with me.  So maybe you could picture all of this in your head?

(3) Schick Hydro Razors@ $6.99 ea. -Used (3)  $5/1 Schick coupons from SS 6/13 and (3) $4/1 Target Schick coupons  from SS 6/20 making them a moneymaker.

(4) Benadryl Itch Relief Stick @  $2.29 ea. – Used (2)  $5/2 Benadryl coupon from RP 4/11 to get them all for FREE.

Pampers Wipes Tub @ $2.39 -Used $2/1 coupon from PG 6/6 making it only $.39

(2) Red Baron Singles @ $2.50 ea. – Used (2) $2/1 printables (no longer available) making them $.50 each

(2) Eggo Waffles @ $1.75 ea. – Used $1/2 Target printable and $1/2 coupon from RP 6/20 to get them for $.75 each

(1) Shout Travel Size Wipes @ $.97 – Used $1/1 Target printable to get it for FREE

Here was my favorite deal of all:

I bought:

(2) Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayers @ $6.99 ea.
Used (2) $3/1 Target printables and (2) $5/1 printables (or from SS 6/13)

(1) Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel @ $3.94
(1) Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush Flushable Refills @ $3.94
Someone had left a Target printable for B1G1 FREE (Thank you whoever you are!)
Plus there were $2/2 coupons on some of the Scrubbing Bubbles products

PLUS I used the coupon to get a $5 Target Gift Card WYB 4 Scrubbing Bubbles Products TARGET Coupon from SS 6/27  (The cashier even took the $5 off my total rather than give me a gift card!)

In the end, I purchased four Scrubbling Bubbles products and made $3.06!

I also bought some Old Bay seasoning while I was there that was not on sale for $3.59.

Total before coupons: $72.90

Total after coupons: $3.98!

Well, here’s  a fun surprise!  Kmart is offering double coupons next week (July 4-10, 2010) on all health and beauty products.  You can go here to view the list of participating stores. They will be doubling any health and beauty coupon with a face value of up to $2.

Keep mind that you will need to present your Shop Your Way Rewards card at time of purchase.  Limited to 5 coupons per customer, per day. Only first 5 coupons will be doubled.

I finally have a store near me that will be participating and I’ll be on vacation.  Sigh.
