Time for another Saving on a Shoestring update!  (Yes…I know it’s almost the end of September.  It’s been a busy month!)

Before I share my exciting news…it’s time for a little PEP TALK. How are you all doing with your savings for the Cha-Ching Christmas Club?!  Now that Christmas is only three months away (YIKES!), it’s a good time to calculate your savings.

If you have been collecting Swag Bucks and plan to use them toward Christmas, I recommend redeeming your rewards now!  You can redeem two rewards per day and up to 5 of the same rewards per month.  Don’t forget that you can get the best ‘bang for your buck’ with those $5 Amazon gift cards, which usually take a couple of weeks to get added to your account.   Then you can add them to your Amazon account or just keep them in your Swag Bucks account and save them for your holiday shopping!

And now for my EXCITING news!!

I’m happy to share that I reached 100% of my savings goal for the Cha-Ching! Christmas Club!

It’s exciting to me to think that I will have a few more months to put away money from rebates, Swag Bucks and surveys to give us even more room to be generous this Christmas!

And as for Project Cruise 2012: We are up to 17%!

I have added new codes to my Huggies Rewards Codes database (highlighted in red) worth 16 points.   Thanks to Freebies 4 Mom for posting them. I also noticed that there is a new poll and a new video available to help you earn even more points.

You can use it to play Instant Win games or enter some Sweeps at Enjoy The Ride Rewards.  You can also opt to save your points toward items in their rewards catalog.

JCPenney has released two hot new coupon codes to get to get $10 off any order of $10 or more: GO4TEN andLIZ4YOU. PLUS, you can still score FREE standard shipping on all their shoes.  (I believe you can only use one coupon code per order.)

It looks like shoes start as low as $4.99, but your total will have to be over $10 to use the coupon code. You can check out the shoes section here.

Get a FREE Avocado coupon from The Amazing Avocado Facebook page.  Simply ‘Like’ the page and then print the coupon from the tab.  It is redeemable at any grocery store that sells Mexican Hass Avocados.

I would recommend downloading the coupon right away because I’m not sure how long it will be available.

Keep in mind that many stores do not accept internet coupons for FREE products.  Be sure to call ahead to find if your store accepts them.
