When I turned 40, my husband gave me a birthday party where we invited our friends and their children for grilled chicken and fireworks. It was so much fun, but the best part was when my wonderful and very “happy” husband started doing the “Re-run dance” for all of our friends and family! It was definetly a birthday to remember!

My favorite birthday memory is when my mom was still alive we went to a Xmas Townwide Bazaar on my birthday that was held in a small town, at homes, churches & businesses. My mom went to school there and watching her catch up with old friends was as much fun for me as for her.

My mom is a hoot and defintely marches to her own drum. I remember one of my birthday dinners where she made shrimp. I hate shrimp. She said to me “I know you don’t like shrimp but it sounded really good to me and I guess you will just have to have 2 potatoes”.
