My best birthday memories are just being with my family!!

I don’t really have a favorite birthday memory, but the one that sticks out the most would be my 18th. It felt very odd to have cake at my mother’s house, and then go back to my own apartment. 🙂
My favorite birthday was this year, as I turned 21 and my mom and sister threw me a surprise party. My first one and boy, was I surprised! I LOVED it!
When I turned 30 a couple of friends planned a surprise party for me at a very nice restaurant. I found out about the surprise party, but thought it was after they took me out to dinner. Well, I walked in and 12 of my favorite people truly surprised me (and I’m very hard to surprise). It was a memorable evening from beginning to end!

I don’t have one FAVORITE birthday memory beause as a little girl my parents always went all out to make sure I had a special birthday with great parties, so I have many. Plus my birthdays are pretty special as is since I share one with my mom. But one fond memory is the year my family took me on a train ride; my first time! I had always wanted to attend one of those dinner/murder mysteries. So the people performed a murder mystery on the train while we ate. It was pretty awesome.
My favorite birthday memory was when my husband threw me a 40th surprise party. He flew in all of my family from all over the United States! I was totally shocked!

when i turned 16–my mom had a birthday party for me and she made the cake–well she ran out of icing and used another different kind–let’s just say it was one weird looking cake–brown on one side–and chocolate on the other–my friends didn’t want to eat it cause it was so funny looking!! 🙂
