Last week I shared with you all that I was going to begin a new series called “A Realistic Look at Couponing” in response to TLC’s Extreme Couponing Special (which will become a series beginning Wednesday, April 6.)
In my first video, I tackle the ins and outs of Coupon Preparation:
After watching the video, I’d love for you to take this little quiz:
How much of this video do you think is an accurate picture of my coupon preparation?
1) 100% — It’s ALL true. (Couponing is a contact sport after all!)
2) 50%–Ok…that cart puller thing is stretching it a bit.
3) Approximately 2%–we pack snacks, of course. Oh–and coupons.
Then tune in next week when I reveal a REALLY Realistic Look at Couponing. 🙂

Had me in hysterics. What a fun video. I love love love the nametag idea! I am a #3 – couponing is rewarding but a lot of work. xo

BWAHHH!! I almost thought this was serious because I the word (parody) didn’t connect in my brain. This was too…funny!! I’ll go with #3.
Saidah@AProverbsWife.com says
Oh…Kelly..so sorry about the image. I thought you were asking me to upload my comment image :}
shahina says
This is hilarious!!!!! lmao @ the cart puller….
Karen says
Based on your preparation and strategies, the only right answer is #1 !! Hil-ar-ious!!!
A.Q. says
LOL tooo funny. I will go with #3… As much as you are successful with couponing without the dumpster diving, I couldn’t stop laughing and thinking if you were really out there like that, they would have you all over the news.
Angie says
Thanks for the shock and awe. I was hoping it was all a spoof but you sounded so matter of fact and convincing. I kept thinking, “This can NOT be the same woman I read day after day!”
Gotta say you lost me at packing a bag for the kids. I can still barely do trips alone. I can’t imagine taking my three girls, all three and under, with me. However, I did it years ago with my first three when they were little. Hmm…must be getting old.
Thanks for the fun vid. Well done, indeed.

LOL – you’ve got to be willing to throw some punches if your planning to get all those uhauls filled
Andi says
So funny! I thought in the beginning that you had lost your mind and then realized that you were being silly. I would love to see someone with elbow pads on at the store.
Katrina says
You are too funny! That was hilarious! I’d come to watch the shoe-fly pie scuffle in the Landis parking lot! 🙂
Cindy Livesey says
OMG, I am dying over here. Love, Love, Love it! That was the best video EVER! Don’t forget the keys for your U-Haul. Bahahaha!!
Marina says
This was funny and really had me going. My children were concerned I would take these tips to heart. My guess is #3!
Jody Hickok says
I’m REALLY hoping the answer is #3!!! LOL I was beginning to get quite concerned (and so were my kids!!!! ) They were afraid I’d go out looking and acting like that, too….they know I take to heart ALL the good stuff on Chaching!!! 🙂
sheri grennille says
that was very cute! #3 although sometimes the bribery for good behavior is to BUY a snack that might not even be on sale…
Janice K. says
Too Funny! You had me going at first! By far #3 is the answer!!!!!!!!
Lydia says
Do you know how badly I needed a laugh this morning?! Thank you so much!
eunice b says
thanks for the coaching, kaley….I’m headed out with my U-Haul this am! 🙂 Might need to stop by to borrow my husband’s knee pads though. 😉
jfred says
oh my goodness–this is hilarious! Though that teeny binder won’t get you a uhaul of groceries! hahaha!
I bring snacks and water bottles and the kids can bring 1-2 small toys when we do a grocery shopping trip. And we ALWAYS have to hit the bathroom halfway through the store–wherever the bathroom is farthest away–that’s the point my dd HAS HAS HAS to go to the bathroom. every.single.time.
Melanie says
You had me at first but…the nametag??? Then I knew the answer was #3! Love it!
Gina says
That’s great! I love that you did it with such a straight face!
Michelle says
very funny, but I am going with #1! Kidding, of course, you have to take a light hearted approach 🙂 good job on the video
