Note: I went to Rite Aid today to try this deal and was told that they are now ringing up at $8.99. It sounds like some people are having success still, so let me know if it works for you if you decide to give it a try!
Many people are reporting that Duracell AA and AAA battery 10 packs are on clearance at Rite Aid and are ringing up at $2.24 instead of $8.99 as they are marked.
If you have the Procter & Gamble coupon booklet or recent mailer, use the $1/1 coupon to score them for as low as $1.24. Some people are also reporting finding $1/1 peelies on the packages.
Let us know if you find this deal at your Rite Aid!
Thanks, Kim!

i heard this wasn’t working anymore. i decided not to do the deal since i’ve been getting my free batteries from staples and office depot lately. Also i noticed the packages at my RA were dated 6/10 though i don’t think it really matters with batteries.

Yep, here in South Jersey. I did it yesterday. Yay!

My RA was out of the 10 pks. They had plenty of the 8 plus 2 packs as pictured above but they rang up at $8.99. The cashier said the same as Kristie’s- they are discontinuing the 10 ct. pkg. I plan to scope out a few other RA’s for these.

Worked in Philadelphia for both AA and AAA

Our Rite aid told me that they are discontinuing the 10 count package and therefore reduced the price to deplete their stock. Great for us!!

I was told try this and I did. After seeing the $8.99 price tag at Rite Aid I took the package to the register and had them do a price check. Sure enough, in Ohio, the 10 pack Duracell batteries are also ringing up at $2.24. WOW! I didn’t have the $1 coupon because they were all out of papers on Sunday, but that’s still a great price.
