There is a new $1 off Blink Tears coupon that is available.
Next week, you will be able to score a moneymaker at Walgreens with this coupon:
Walgreens Week of 1/29/12:
Buy Blink Tears, .33 or 0.5 oz. ($8.00)
Get $8.00 RRs
Use $1/1 Blink Tears coupon
FREE + moneymaker after coupon!
I recommend printing the coupon now if you think you will use it.
Are there any limits to this deal? (Can we do this more than once?)
No limits, but you won’t be able to use the RRs you earn on the Blink Tears to purchase another Blink Tears. You can read more about how the ‘Walgreens Game’ works here: https://chachingonashoestring.com/the-drug-store-game/walgreens-101/
That completely answers my question! Thanks a million!
Question about the “moneymaker” part:
If we simply buy one Blink Tears, will the overage be paid out in cash? Or do we buy a small item and the overage will go to paying the difference?
Thanks!
Hi, Lindsay!
Walgreens loyalty system is Register Rewards, which is like money that can only be used at Walgreens. So when you purchase the Blink Tears, you will pay $7 after your $1 coupon, but you will receive $8 in Register Rewards that can be used on your next purchase. We call that a moneymaker because you are earning more money in Register Rewards than you are paying.
Does that help answer your question?
