Check out my savings for the week below:
Savings from coupons and store sales: $67.77
I shared my savings at CVS, Aldi, Redner’s and Landis earlier this week.
- Total Spent: $60.53
- Total Saved: $67.77
Savings from ‘Free Money’: $30
- I received a $15 check from a Class Action lawsuit against Rice Krispies this week. (I totally had forgotten about it! Fun surprise.)
- I’ve gotten 6 free Valentine’s cards for different people over the past couple of weeks from various offers.
Savings from cutting costs: $6
- We eat pizza almost every week. I’ve decided to get back into the habit of making homemade pizza rather than buying pizza from a restaurant. (Besides, homemade pizza is soo much yummier!)
TOTAL SAVINGS:$103.77

I love making homemade pizza, especially with whole wheat flour and lots of veggies. 🙂

I am excited about our January savings. I am also learning to shop with less coupons and start making my own laundry soap ect. It is fun. Thank for the opportunity to share.

Did you forget to tell us about the lawsuit. I never saw where you could sign up for that one. Sure could have used the $15.00 this week (had to buy 4 new tires)still looking for the cash now to cover that bill when it comes. Tired the blood bank they won’t take mine. Tired to sell a brand new coat I have no luck on that one either really sweating this one ! Not certain how I am going to do it. I have two weeks. Any ideas?

I’m sorry, Janet. I was not 100% positive that the offer was legit, so I didn’t post it.
Did you try Craigslist to sell the coat? You might even look around the house and see if you have other clothing or decor that could sell.
I’m sorry to hear about your dilemma. I do hope that a solution comes to mind quickly!
