As a teacher and mom I feel I have to be extra organized for the beginning of the year. I always get everything ready at night outfits, lunches, even dinner for the next day!

My best tip is to start EARLY and to reuse as much as you can. I keep all of the school stuff in a big box in the laundry room so I always know where to look!

Back to school shopping doesn’t have to hit your budget hard. I don’t often buy many things because the ones I have are still in good condition. I take advantage of tax-free days to get most of the shopping done.
I keep all 3 kids lists in my purse and try to get it all at once, but always pick up extra on the great sales just for home too.

We often start school with last year’s items (if we can) such as lunch boxes, backpacks, etc. and then purchase new a few weeks later, when they have gone on clearance!
