I had a new guy today at CVS. He was funny. He told me that if I really want to save money, I shouldn’t shop at CVS. Hehe…that’s what he thinks. 😉
Then I worked up this deal:
Transaction #1:
FYI – I kind of am not sure exactly what happened here. I had a couple of CVS coupons for the L’Oreal. At first, the $5 off $20 wouldn’t go through, so I tried the 10% off coupon. And then in the end, it appeared that both went through. Not sure if that should have happened.
Buy (2) L’Oreal Preference – $9.99 each – Get $5 ECB’s
Buy Colgate Total Toothpaste, $3.49 – Get $2 ECB’s
Use $5 off $15 purchase coupon from CVS email
Use $2/1 L’Oreal Preference from RP 1/11
Use $5/2 L’Oreal Preference from RP 1/11
Use $5 off $20 L’Oreal coupon from CVS coupon printer
Use 10% off L’Oreal coupon from CVS coupon printer
Use $3 in ECB’s from last week
$4.71 after coupons!
Transaction #2:
Buy (3) Speed Stick @ $4 ea. – Get $6 in ECB’s
Use (3) $2/1 coupons
Use $5 in ECB’s from previous transaction
$1.06 after coupons!
Just a heads up – there are actually some better coupons for the Speed Stick and the Colgate in the 1/18 SmartSource insert – that is if you picked up your paper from your driveway before it got completely drenched by ice and sleet – like me. 🙂
So in all, I spent just $5.77 for $40.50 worth of items and I have $8 in ECB’s for next trip!
