As if we needed another reason to love ALDI, here is a sweet one.
The ALDI-exclusive Benton’s Caramel Coconut Fudge Cookies recently were awarded the 2015 Better Homes and Gardens Best New Product in the Baked Goods category!
The Better Homes and Gardens Best New Product Awards recognize the most appealing and innovative new Beauty, Food & Beverage, Health & Personal Care, Household and Kids products each year. Winning products are chosen by real consumers like you and me.
While our family did not participate in the vote, I can assure that we would have given these delightfully sweet and chewy cookies two thumbs up. (I confess – I just popped one in my mouth as a taste test. Nom nom nom. Yep. Definitely sweet and chewy.)
My husband was particularly thrilled when these cookies appeared in our kitchen cupboard. He is a sucker for anything covered in coconut and fudge. Pardon me while I find a secret hiding spot for this package of sweet goodness.

Aldi’s opened in the next town over about a year ago, so I’ve only shopped there a year. I love Aldi’s. They allow me to stretch my budget and have wonderful deals and their food is great quality.

I first shopped at Aldi 20 years ago in Colorado, but took a hiatus when I moved back to NY and they were not here. I was thrilled when they finally did open some stores here several years ago.
I have been shopping at Aldi’s for about 16 years. They have the best fruit and produce in town. Also the cheapest in town.

I am an avid coupon clipper and love to stack deals with sale items and coupons. The nice thing about Aldi is they carry their own specific brands and keep their costs down by only accepting EBT & debit cards and cash. You bag your own groceries and save a ton. Happy to see one is coming locally. Plan to shop the grand opening !! If you like European chocolate, check out their holiday German chocolates. YUM!!
