Welcome to the weekly Cha-Ching Challenge!
Did you find a HOT deal this week that you just want to share? You’ve come to the right place! Every week I post the Cha-Ching Challenge, sharing my savings for the week. Add a link to your post detailing your savings for the week OR your favorite deal of the week. I’ll choose one participating blog to highlight next week right here on Cha-Ching on a Shoestring.
Add your links to Mr. Linky at any time. In order to be considered for the Cha-Ching Challenge Highlight, just be sure to add your link no later than Tuesday at midnight EST.
Check out my savings for the week below:
I actually scored some incredible deals this week. BUT today we are celebrating my son’s birthday who turns 5 tomorrow. {Insert sentimental gushy mom sigh here.} And since we will be in the midst of moving at the end of August, we are celebrating my other’s son’s second birthday as well. {He turns 2 on August 29. Insert another aforementioned sigh here.}
So since we are in the midst of some partying today, I am going to take a break from sharing my deals. Plus I’m going to be knee-deep today creating this Pirate Cake. Let’s hope it’s a masterpiece, unlike last year’s!
I still want to hear how you did this week though! So drop a link or a comment and share what made you say “Cha-CHING!” this week!

I have a suggestion for your cake – when you put it on the serving plate to frost, make sure you put waxed paper pieces under the edges (not under the entire cake). That way if the frosting gets away from you (like it does me!), you can pull the pieces of waxed paper out and voila! it looks professional 🙂
