  • CVS: Spent $3.41.  Saved $42.52 during last week’s Black Friday Shopping trip.
  • Aldi: Saved $10.

I scored some great freebies the past two week:

  • The $10 Snapfish credit. (Which is still available here!)
  • The Photoworks freebie–a $25.94 value!  (My code finally worked.  Yay!  This one is no longer available though.)

It’s been a busy and fun few days visiting with family, eating, sleeping in various places, sleeping in various places, and eating some more.  I haven’t had much time to blog, but I did sucker ask my mom and sister if they’d like to humiliate themselves star in a CVS Black Friday Shopping Vlog.  They are great sports and we had a lot of fun (and managed to score some great deals at the same time!)

So, I thought I’d take a break from highlighting my savings this week, and share the highlight of our Black Friday shopping instead!

Savings from coupons and store sales: $90.55

  • CVS: Paid $5.73.  Saved $55.99 (For those of you who watched the Vlog, they didn’t take my $5 off $20 coupon!)
  • Giant: Paid $14.85.  Saved $1.49 (Quick trip!)
  • Landis: Used free coupons they sent since we are new in town!  Paid $0.  Saved $13.07. Thank, Landis!
  • Rite Aid: Had to send the receipt in for a rebate, but I think I saved about $20 with rebates.

Savings from ‘Free Money’: $79.50

  • Finally made it over to Edible Arrangements for the free 6-box of chocolate dipped fruit I scored a few weeks ago.  Dee-LISH!  Saved $15.
  • Redeemed gas rewards from shopping at the Giant PA.  Saved $4.50.
  • Got a free pizza for being new in the area.  Saved $10.   Being new has its perks. =)

TOTAL SAVINGS:$170.05

TOTAL SAVINGS THIS YEAR: $4518.86

  • Wes cut the boys’ hair this week.  (Lincoln’s first!)
