That is a really great question. I will be the first to say that saving at the grocery store is not as easy as saving at the drugstore, mainly because of the whole meal planning thing.
I have two thoughts:
1) The way I save is by using e-Mealz at Aldi. (You can read my post about it here: https://chachingonashoestring.com/2009/05/08/e-mealz-meal-planning/ ) I love that the meals are planned around the weekly store sales.
2) There are many other ways to save as well. Stockpiling when the sales are at their lowest and matching them with a coupon is one of the best ways. Sticking to a budget weekly is also an important priority.
If you can tell me what stores you shop at, I would be happy to find a blog that does coupon match-ups for you. You can also check out the Grocery Gathering at BeCentsable.net. Most grocery stores nation-wide are listed. The link is: http://becentsable.net/Default.aspx?pageId=331689
I know this is just the tip of the iceberg–but it’s a good start. Let me know if you have any more questions!

I love your blog, and am hoping you can help me! I feel pretty confident in my “drugstore game” shopping, but am still struggling to save at the grocery store. Any tips?
