A while back I shared with you how I signed up for Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts Sprinklings. Simply for signing up, I’ve received a coupon for a free box of Pop Tarts and a package of Grape Pop Tarts for me to taste test before they hit the stores.
But last week I received my favorite freebie from them yet. They sent me a little “Half Birthday Party in a Box” for my four year old.
First of all, I gotta admit–I did not realize it was Griffin’s half birthday. I don’t usually put half birthdays on the calendar. So, I LOVED that they reminded me of this. We threw a little party complete with the banner and card that they sent. We popped a candle in the Pop Tarts they sent and sang “Happy Half Birthday to you.” Griffin was in his glory.
Growing up, Pop Tarts were always a special treat in our house. We didn’t get them very often. But we did always find them in our Christmas stockings. (In fact, this year someone-who-shall-remain-nameless actually requested that my Mom be sure to put them in our stockings again. Ahem…) So, I think that’s another reason I’m enjoying this. We may not get them often, but they are a simple way to celebrate every once in a while.

Hi, Cathy! From what I understand the coupons and freebies only get sent out on special occasions like when a new flavor is coming out. I have received packages on my sons’ half. Birthdays though. You may want to contact Pop Tarts via their contact page if you want further information.
I signed up and never got coupons sent to me. I want to know why some get the free stuff and others do not just like in one of the above replys. thanks

I joined this several months ago because my son and husband both love poptarts but I never get anything. Not even coupons much less free ones. What am I doing wrong?
I love this too, my son loves poptarts so it is a real treat when we get them in the mail.
