How does Rite Aid’s Loyalty Program Work?

Rite Aid’s loyalty program is two-fold:

+Up Rewards: Similar to the CVS ExtraCare program, +Up Rewards (UPR) are coupons that print out at the end of your cash register receipt when you purchase featured +UP Rewards products.  These can be used on your next transaction.  The major difference between the two is that you cannot use your +Up Rewards until the next day.   UPR are automatically loaded to your wellness+ card or, if you prefer, you can ask a store associate to opt you out of having your rewards automatically load onto your card. Your +UP Rewards will be printed on your receipt instead.

Rite Aid Wellness Program: As a Wellness member, you can earn money-savings rewards.   You’ll earn one point for every dollar spent on eligible purchases when you scan your card at the register. You’ll also earn 25 points on most prescription purchases. At 250 points, you’ll receive 10% off all Rite Aid purchases when you scan your card at checkout.  Once you earn 500 points, you’ll earn 10% off all non-prescription purchases.  At 1000 points, you’ll earn 20% off non-prescription purchases.

Rewards are valid for the remainder of the calendar year.  For more information about the Wellness program, click here.

Kaley’s Top 5 BIG TIPS for Rite Aid:

  1. Sign up for the Wellness program online or in-store.
  2. Look for the deals that will give you the most RR’s for the littlest amount of money.  Stacking a manufacturer’s coupon with a store coupon on a sale item is a great way to do that.
  3. Go here to check out the Video Values Program which will help you earn Rite Aid coupons.
  4. When purchasing products that earn +Up Rewards, roll those rewards over onto your next transaction to keep your out of pocket low.  Keep in mind that a +Up Reward can only be redeemed starting at 6AM on the day after it was earned and expires 14 days after issue.
  5. Use my handy custom Rite Aid Shopping list (now located on the Favado app) each week and let me do the planning for you!
