This giveaway has ended.
I admit. I’ve never been a big spender. Even when I was given three envelopes for Spending, Giving, and Saving as a child, my Saving envelope always seemed to be the thickest.
But even with my love for saving, I have had a lot to learn through the years about effective strategies for budgeting and staying debt-free. When it comes to managing finances, it can be a lot for anyone to think about, especially if they don’t know where to start. Even if the thought is as simple as wanting to increase a credit score, doing some research into this aspect of money management could be a step in the right direction. If this is something personal, here’s how to fix your own credit score. Hopefully, this could help with managing other financial aspects and relieve a lot of stress that this can cause.
This is why I wish I had read The Money Saving Mom’s Budget: Slash Your Spending, Pay Down Your Debt, Streamline Your Life, and Save Thousands a Yeara LONG time ago.
You may recognize the author, Crystal Paine, as the blogger behind MoneySavingMom.com. I’ve been a fan and reader of Crystal’s blog for many years. In fact, her blog is one of the very first that got me started on the road to couponing and ultimately led to my passion for helping others save money right here on Cha-Ching on a Shoestring.
So it was no surprise to me that I thoroughly enjoyed reading her book and appreciate the easy, manageable steps that she lays out for all of us–whether we’ve new to budgeting and couponing or have been at it for years.
In addition, Crystal offers some fantastic tips on how to simplify and organize your life…which ultimately will help you financially as well.
I’m excited to share that I am giving away a copy of The Money Saving Mom’s Budget to THREE lucky Cha-Ching on a Shoestring readers!

There are so many fun things I do to help save my family money. The best has been going to a “cash only” envelope budgeting system. In a quick glance, I know exactly how much I can spend (or have spent) on grocery items, dining out and even the general shopping adventure! Saving money because there is NO over spending. When the cash runs out, we just have to sit tight until the next pay week. 🙂

My fav way to save is to coupon and hit the clearance as much as possible. I stockpile on the items I know I’ll need – diapers/wipes/napkins/paper towels.

I save money by using coupons and cooking more meals at home. I would like to learn how to save even more though…thanks!

I save money thru couponing, strategic shoppings and trying to be minimalistic on things I think my family needs. I also follow Crystal’s blog. You both do such a great job!
