CVS Shopping Trip Week of 6/8/14
It was a big day around here. It was my oldest son’s last day of 2nd grade! In fact, he only had school for two hours today, thus the big red shoes in the background of this picture. Summer has officially begun!
I broke one of my shopping rules and took all three kids to CVS with me today. In spite of that, the trip went fairly smoothly until the very last few minutes when my little guy was screaming for candy at the checkout. They sure know what they are doing putting those rows and rows of tempting candy bars and such at eye level for a two year old, don’t they? 🙂
That being said, I typically break my purchases up into more than one transaction so that I can pay less out of pocket by rolling over rewards. However, I opted to just do one transaction today so as not to subject the entire store to the ear piercing screams of my toddler. Tell me I’m not the only one who’s had to do this…
So here is my transaction today. I can’t remember the last time I spent this much at CVS, but when you break it all down, it’s like paying about $3 per item, so still some great deals!

Isn’t it, Michelle? I even had a car cart, but its magic only lasts so long. 🙂
