Have you printed out that Rite Aid $5/$25 coupon yet? If not, I recommend doing so now, and then heading over to see the moneymaker deal that Mindi has cooked up. If you have all of the coupons, you should be able to make over $10!

Welcome to the weekly
Cha-Ching Challenge Highlight:
This week’s highlight is Goo Goo Buy Buy!
Blog author Amy Joyner Buchanan is a former personal finance writer and the author of five business books, including “The eBay Millionaire” and “The Online Millionaire.” She lives in Greensboro, NC with her husband, Bruce, and almost 2-year-old son, Jackson.
Check out her post detailing how she spent only $11.90 on about $93 in merchandise. Great job, Amy! And may I add kudos to your husband for surviving the shopping trip!
While you are there, I recommend reading her We’re Going Grocery Free post. It’s a great challenge to use what we’ve stockpiled in our cupboards. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE her Stockpile Spreadsheet. Such a great idea!
Would you like to join us in next week’s Cha-Ching Challenge?
Simply come back on Saturday and join the Cha-Ching Challenge by adding a link to your post sharing your great deals for the week!

Here’s a heads-up that I’ve updated the Summer Fun Round-Up list.
My favorite item that I’ve added is information on FreeAttractions.com This is a great resource to find free activities in your local area or in this year’s vacation spot. Listings include Free Museums, Free Parks, Free Concerts, Free Parades, Free Festivals, and Free Zoos.
You may be surprised by what you didn’t know about your hometown!

Update: The word is that the web-site is going to take this coupon down before Friday, so be sure to print it out now if you plan on using it!
Head on over to Orange Julius to pick up a FREE Smoothie on Friday, June 19th when you present this coupon.
Your options are:
Limit one coupon per customer during the day of the promotion. While supplies last.
Now the question is, “Will you get your smoothie before or after you guzzle down your free Root Beer Float from A&W?”

Here’s an idea for Father’s Day: Restaurant.com is selling $25 gift certificates to thousands of restaurants nation-wide for only $4 when you use code DAD at check-out! If you plan on taking Dad out to dinner anyway, what a great way to save some greenbacks!
PLUS you will also receive $15 off your next qualifying purchase of $75 or more from Lobster Gram. This code is good until June 21, 2009. In most cases, the gift certificate is good for one year from purchase.
If you have never purchased a gift certificate from Restaurant.com, I would encourage you to be sure to read all of the details before purchasing. Sometimes there is a minimum amount that needs to be spent or you are required to purchase a certain amount of entrees. It is still a great way to save money, but just be sure to be informed!

The word is that several people have found ‘Try Me Free’ rebates on specially-marked boxes of Raisin Bran Extra. Some have been found in Walmart–have you seen any elsewhere?
If you print this coupon for $1/1 box of Kellogg’s Raisin Bran Extra, you can actually make a dollar by buying a box. You will be reimbursed for the full price when you send in the mail-in rebate.
Be sure to print it out now so you are prepared in case you run into one of these boxes while you’re out shopping!
