Well, ladies and gents, it looks like we have another HOT CVS moneymaker on our hands.  Here’s the scoop from Jenny from Southern Savers.

There’s a weekly CVS Extra Care Bucks deals on Sunglasses.  Apparently the following products are also included in this deal:

  • Style Science Lens Cleaning Cloths that sell for $0.99 each (silver colored pack of 20)
  • Car Cleaning Cloths at $0.99 cents each
  • Style Science Glass Cases at $1.99

Therefore, you could pay only $1.98 OOP and receive $10 ECBs!  That’s an $8 moneymaker!

Most people are reporting that you can find these next to the sunglasses or eyeglasses displays.  Let us know where you find yours!

I am always skeptical when I first see these moneymaker deals because they seem too good to be true.  However, almost every comment that I’ve read is showing that this deal is working for people.  Of course, I can’t guarantee that it will work for you, but you better believe I will be heading to CVS TODAY to try it out!

UPDATE: It worked for me…woohoo!  They were by the sunglasses in my CVS.

Cha-Ching challenge

Welcome to the weekly

Cha-Ching Challenge Highlight:

This week’s highlight is Goo Goo Buy Buy!

Blog author Amy Joyner Buchanan is a former personal finance writer and the author of five business books, including “The eBay Millionaire” and “The Online Millionaire.” She lives in Greensboro, NC with her husband, Bruce, and almost 2-year-old son, Jackson.

Check out her post detailing how she spent only $11.90 on about $93 in merchandise.  Great job, Amy!  And may I add kudos to your husband for surviving the shopping trip!

While you are there,  I recommend reading her We’re Going Grocery Free post.  It’s a great challenge to use what we’ve stockpiled in our cupboards.  And I LOVE LOVE LOVE her Stockpile Spreadsheet.  Such a great idea!

Would you like to join us in next week’s Cha-Ching Challenge?

Simply come back on Saturday and join the Cha-Ching Challenge by adding a link to your post sharing your great deals for the week!

Here’s a heads-up that I’ve updated the Summer Fun Round-Up list.

My favorite item that I’ve added is information on FreeAttractions.com This is a great resource to find free activities in your local area or in this year’s vacation spot.  Listings include Free Museums, Free Parks,  Free Concerts, Free Parades, Free Festivals, and Free Zoos.

You may be surprised by what you didn’t know about your hometown!

Your options are:

Restaurant.com Sale: 60% off

June 17th, 2009 By Kaley
This post may contain affiliate links, which means I will make a small commission if you click and make a purchase.

Here’s an idea for Father’s Day: Restaurant.com is selling $25 gift certificates to thousands of restaurants nation-wide for only $4 when you use code DAD at check-out!  If you plan on taking Dad out to dinner anyway, what a great way to save some greenbacks!

PLUS you will also receive $15 off your next qualifying purchase of $75 or more from Lobster Gram. This code is good until June 21, 2009.  In most cases, the gift certificate is good for one year from purchase.

If you have never purchased a gift certificate from Restaurant.com, I would encourage you to be sure to read all of the details before purchasing.  Sometimes there is a minimum amount that needs to be spent or you are required to purchase a certain amount of entrees.  It is still a great way to save money, but just be sure to be informed!
