So, have I mentioned that I now have a CVS about one mile from my house?!   And have I mentioned what great joy this has brought me?  The closest CVS before we moved was about 25 minutes away.  I love that I can literally just run to the store without making it a day trip.

This past week I made my first purchase at our delightfully close CVS and was just as delightfully pleased with the result.

I got all of the items above for a mere $.22.  And received $11.99 in ECBs back.

Ahh.  It’s good to be home.

Here’s the breakdown for those of you who are interested:

2 Planter’s Peanuts at 2/$6
Used $1/2 Planters Products, 9oz – 21.25oz from SS 6/28/09

1 Clairol Loving Care Hair Color @ $4.99
Used $4/1 Natural Instincts from PG 8/2/09 (EXP. 8/31/09)

1 Glade Fragrance Collection Reed Diffuser @ $6.99
Used $3/1 0n any product from The Fragrance Collection from All you August issue 2009

1 Tide Stain Release Duo Pac, 10 ct. @ $3.99
Used $1.50/1 Tide Stain Release Mailer request

1 Fragrance Collection Soy  Candle
Used Free candle coupon from the 8/09 inserts

Winterfresh Gum @ $1.19 ea.
Used B1G1 coupon from SS 6/28/09

Chocolate @ $.50 was a filler =)

Used $4/20 coupon from Readyfill coupon booklet.
Used $10 ECBs from previous transaction.

Received $2 ECBs for peanuts, $6.99 ECBs for Glade Reed Diffuser, $1 ECB for Tide Stain Release, and $2 ECBs for Clairol.

Want a fun free activity for this weekend and and a chance to help break a world record?  Well, here it is:

On September 5 (National Bowling Day–who knew?),  you will be able to bowl a free game at a participating bowling center with a  free game coupon by clicking here.

We might have to take Griffin because he announced to us the other day that he wants to be a bowler when he grows up (which was followed shortly by a garbage truck driver and then later a store cashier…our little dreamer…)

Thanks, MoJo Savings!

It’s back to school time, which can also mean back to germ-sharing time.  Clorox wants to help teachers with that.

From September 2-5, 2009,  teachers can click HERE to get a free canister of Clorox wipes for the classroom thanks to Clorox and the National Education Association. Teachers can also download a “Clean Up the Classroom” kit with fun activities and games and tips on preventing the spread of germs at school.

Not a teacher?  Pass this on to someone who is.  I’m sure they will thank you for it!
