shop your way rewards

A reader e-mailed me today to share about a new rewards card that she discovered while shopping at Kmart.  It’s called Shop Your Way rewards and is simply a way to earn discounts off of future purchases by shopping at the following locations:

  • Sears
  • Kmart
  • Land’s End at Sears
  • Sears.com
  • Kmart.com
  • Mygofer.com

You will earn 1% back on qualifying purchases and bonus rewards during exclusive promotions.  You can use it on your next purchase or save up your rewards for a future purchase.  Another very cool benefit?  You can return items without a receipt!

Not only that, but when you use the card at Kmart, you will be eligible to win a Kmart K’Ching Surprise.  Beth shared that she won a Pledge Multi-Purpose Cleaner just for using her card at the register!

I am really liking the sound of this.  Who doesn’t love free money?!

Thanks, Beth!

Vocal Point: Have You Joined Yet?

vocalpoint

In the world of saving money, there are a few things that I love so much that I have considered writing poetry to them.  I already mentioned Swag Bucks earlier today.

One of my other favorites is Vocal Point.  Have you joined yet?

Today I opened my mailbox to discover a high value $2 off Pantene coupon from them (and several $1 off coupons as well).  In the past several months, I’ve received coupons for free Rice Krispies, free Kashi, a month’s supply of Olay Pro-X Skin Cream, and other items I’m sure I’m not remembering.  AND they always send additional coupons to share with friends!  (If you are the sharing type…)

I think what I like best about them is that all you have to do is sign up and then little gifts just start popping up in your mailbox every month or so like it’s your birthday or something.

Click here to sign up today!  You’ll thank me for it later!

New Codes for Huggies Rewards Program: 31 Points

November 4th, 2009 By Kaley
This post may contain affiliate links, which means I will make a small commission if you click and make a purchase.

I have added new codes to my Huggies Rewards Codes database (highlighted in red)!   Thanks to Freebies 4 Mom for posting them.  They are worth 31 points, which could allow you to play 31 Instant Win games or enter some Sweeps at Enjoy The Ride Rewards.  There are several new videos and a new poll to earn you more points as well!

There is also  a new feature on the site.  If you’d like, you can begin saving up your points toward items in their Rewards catalog, which contains gift cards, Huggies items, and fun stuff for the kiddos.  Since I’ve won the Instant Win twice now, I think I may be tempted to use mine up there!

I also have a confession to make.  Someone very graciously let me know which codes had expired in my database the last time I posted.  I was so thankful for the time that she or he put into doing that for me, but I can’t for the life of me find that e-mail!  If that was you, would you let me know?  I’m hoping that by searching for you by name, I’ll be able to track down the e-mail with all of that hard work you did for me!  Thanks!

How I Plan to Spend Less than $50 on Christmas This Year Part 3

christmas-money

Ready for my next super secret step in my money-saving strategy for Christmas this year?

(In case you are new around these parts, I am planning on spending no more than $50 on Christmas this year–without being a Scrooge or knitting a single thing.  You can read parts 1 and 2 here and here.)

I just ordered this Christmas gift for my one year old, Lincoln. Besides being cute, it also teaches the names of shapes and colors and has a multi-lingual switch that allows baby to hear the shapes in English, Spanish, and French.  And my favorite part?  It has an on/off volume control.

pelican

Guess how much I paid?  Mmhmm.  You guessed it.  Not a cent.

I ordered it through the Pampers Gifts to Grow program. Been entering codes faithfully for many years now and finally decided it was high time to use them!  (My Mother in Law deserves props for entering codes for me as well!)

Are you a Pampers Gifts to Grow member? If so, do you have enough points to grab a Christmas gift for someone this year?  There are a wide range of gifts available for baby or for others (i.e. an Applebee’s gift card).

I am crossing my fingers that this will come in time, however.  It says it should arrive in 8-10 weeks.  So, I guess there’s a chance that it will be a birthday present instead!

If you aren’t a Pampers Gifts to Grow member yet and still have a baby in diapers, you can sign up here.  Then start saving up your points for next Christmas!  (Look for codes on packages of diapers and wipes.)

The following codes should get you some free points to start off with:

GRATUIT89102009

THRIFTYMOMMYGTG

STARTEARNINGNOW

Plus, did you know that through 11/05/2009, you will get triple points for codes found on Pampers Wipes?  If you have some Pampers wipes, be sure to add your codes before Thursday!

Nielsen: Now Accepting New Applicants

October 30th, 2009 By Kaley

Good news! Nielsen is accepting applicants again for the Nielsen Homescan Consumer Panel.

If you are accepted as a panel member, Homescan will provide you with a hand-held scanner. Every time you or members of your household shop, you’ll use the scanner to scan the barcodes on all of your purchases.

Once a week, you’ll transmit this information to Nielsen and you’ll earn points which can be redeemed for a variety of items from the Nielsen Gift Catalog.  We are on the waiting list and look forward to trying this new fun way to earn ‘free money’.

If you are chosen as a Nielsen panel member and decide it’s not for you, you can simply return the scanner in the postage-paid envelope that you will receive.

Go here to read more and sign up.

CLOSED: Pinecone Research: Accepting New Applicants!

October 20th, 2009 By Kaley
This post may contain affiliate links, which means I will make a small commission if you click and make a purchase.

YAY!   Pinecone Research is accepting new applicants. This is one of the best survey companies available.  You will be paid $3 per survey that you take.  Gotta love free money! Sorry, guys!  It’s closed already.  I’ll let you know when they open up again!

Wes joined this survey company several months ago and we have been so impressed with how quickly we receive checks from them after he takes a survey.  It typically takes about a week.

Hurry–this is a hot offer and usually doesn’t last long!
