How to Earn: 

Register to join the Pinecone Panel for an opportunity to evaluate new product ideas in the comfort of your own home and earn cash rewards for your opinions.

What You Can Earn: 

Pinecone offers a points rewards sytem. You will receive the equivalent of $3 per survey and can use your points to redeem for PayPal cash, check or to be added to a Debit card.  You will have the option to redeem your points for merchandise or to cash out after completion of one study or to save the points to redeem a larger item from the website.  You can check out more about the points rewards system here.

Tips:

  • Surveys typically are offered every few weeks.  Be sure to take the survey as soon as you are able as it will only be available for a limited time.
  • If offered a product review, you will receive the product and will also be compensated $3 for your review.

How to Earn: 

For each survey you will earn (depending on its length) between 15 and 20,000 points.  You also may be given the opportunity to test products for free and share your opinions.  Plus you will get an entry for a $2,500 sweepstakes when you register.

What You Can Earn: 

When you sign up on Toluna you will receive 500 points to welcome you to the site. When you have earned at least 30,000 points you may redeem your points for rewards, such a check, PayPal cash, Amazon gift cards and more!

Tips:

  • Receive 500 points for each friend that signs up through your referral link.

How to Earn: 

  • Simply sign up for a Capital One 360 Checking account (formerly ING Direct).  You’ll just need your checkbook for your account numbers.
  • There is no minimum to open the account but you will want enough money to make at least three purchases.
  • You will need to make a total of 3 debit card purchases or Person2Person Payments (or any combo of the two) within 45 days of account opening
  • There are no checking fees, no minimums.

Once your account reaches $30, you can request a check in the mail.

Tips:

  • You will be paid about $0.02 per e-mail that you click on.  Be sure to look carefully at the bottom of offers that you have clicked on through e-mail.  In some cases, you are required to click again once the ad pops up.
  • I don’t recommend spending money to earn points unless it’s for something you planned on purchasing anyway.
  • Use your referral link to refer friends and receive 10% of their qualified earnings.
  • Once you reach $30, you will have Gold membership status.  This means that you get to be a part of the pool of new non-referred members which allows you to earn some extra money from these referrals.  You will also receive exclusive monthly offers that will allow you to make even more money.

As a panel member, the National Consumer Panel will provide you with a hand-held scanner. Every time you or members of your household shop, you’ll use the scanner to scan the barcodes on all of your purchases.  No landline required.

Then, once a week, you’ll send them your purchase information.  By doing so, you will earn points as well as entries into the Monthly and Quarterly Sweepstakes where you can win a $500 American Express Rewards Card.

What You Can Earn:

Tips:

  • We actually received a scanner a while back and ended up sending it back.   We had just moved and I didn’t feel I had the time to devote to it at that time.  The nice part is that it was easy to send back and Nielsen paid the return shipping.

If you have an iPhone or Android phone, Viggle is an easy way to earn gift cards and more just for watching TV.

This method of earning is really as simple as clicking a button – you just have to remember to do so!

How to Earn: 

Once you’ve set up your account, simply tap “Check In” and then the V button – Viggle will listen to your TV and check you into whatever you are watching. Once you are checked in, you begin earning points.

You earn one point per minute for shows you check into. Some programs give you bonus points – check the ‘What’s On’ section of the app to find featured shows.

You can also earn points for watching recorded shows as long as you check in by 8 am ET the following morning.

What You Can Earn: 

You can redeem for things like Redbox rentals, Starbucks or Chili’s gift cards or save up for our bigger rewards like Apple TV, Kindle Fire HD or even a cruise!

Tips:

  • Earn additional bonus points by playing along with Viggle’s featured programs with their trivia game Viggle LIVE.

Here’s another program that will earn you free products, rather than cash.

Kellogg’s Family Rewards offers you free stuff when you purchase specially marked Kellogg’s Family Rewards products and collect points.

How to Earn: 

Find a list of all the participating products and their point values here.  After purchasing any of those products, enter the 16 digit code found inside the item to start racking up your points.

Kellogg’s also regularly sends out FREE codes by email.  Check the emails that you receive from them to make sure you don’t miss any points!

What You Can Earn: 

As you save up your points, you can redeem them for books, electronics, housewares and more.  Rewards begin at 25 points for sweepstakes and at 1,000 points for products and coupons.

Tips:

  • Click on the ‘Bonus points for you’ section to find opportunities to earn bonus points.
  • Be sure to check out the coupons you can print just for signing up under ‘Promotions & Coupons’.
