One reader wrote this about Inbox Dollars:

It is similar to swag buck instead of rewards you get a check once you reach $30. I first learned about it on the Jon Tesh radio-show. I know it is legit I have received three checks since I’ve joined. 

How to Earn: 

Inbox Dollars is very similar to MyPoints in that you earn points by by reading e-mails, signing up for offers, taking surveys, and shopping through their site.   Plus right now Inbox Dollars is offering a $5 bonus just for signing up!

What You Can Earn: 

The difference between MyPoints and Inbox Dollars is that you actually earn cash as your reward.  Once your account reaches $30, you can request a check in the mail.

Tips:

• You will be paid $.02 per e-mail that you click on.  Be sure to look carefully at the bottom of offers that you have clicked on through e-mail.  In some cases, you are required to click again once the ad pops up.
• Use your referral link to refer friends and receive 10% of their qualified earnings.
• Once you reach $30, you will have Gold membership status.  This means that you get to be a part of the pool of new non-referred members which allows you to earn some extra money from these referrals.  You will also receive exclusive monthly offers that will allow you to make even more money.

Today I want to introduce you to Amazon’s Trade-In program.

How to Earn: 

Do a search on the Amazon Trade-In Store to see how much Amazon will pay you for a Trade In.  Trade-ins are offered on over a million eligible items including DVDs, CDs, video games, electronics, and books. Shipping is free with printable postage-paid shipping labels.

Items considered to be not acceptable will be returned. Return shipping is free, but you will not receive any Amazon.com Gift Card amount for the returned items.

If you have items you no longer need and want to earn a little extra cash – this is a win-win.  You’ll get paid for getting rid of clutter!

What You Can Earn: 

Once any items you send in are approved, you will receive your Amazon.com gift card.

Tips:

• Make sure  your trade-in is postmarked within 7 calendar days of submission and the item meets the product eligibility criteria.

Today’s site is another favorite of Smartphone users: The Shopkick App

Shopkick is an app available for both the  iPhone and Android that issues you coupons for participating stores, restaurants and more when you are at that store.

How to Earn: 

Earn rewards by walking into stores like Target, Macy’s, Best Buy, Old Navy, Crate&Barrel, American Eagle & more.  Earn points they call “kickbucks” for scanning specific products while you are in the store. You can redeem those kickbucks for prizes including Target gift cards (a $5 card is 1250 kicks).  There are also certain tasks that you can complete before heading to the store to earn you more

What You Can Earn: 

You can redeem kicks for many different rewards. You can get restaurant vouchers, iTunes gift cards, Best Buy, Target, Macy’s, Sports Authority or American Eagle gift cards, movie tickets, or even a cruise around the world.

Tips:

• Earn matching Kicks for the first 30 days after each friend signs up through your referral link – up to 2500 points.

Here’s another site that offers products rather than cash – but I’m adding it to the series since it’s so cool anyway.  And let’s face it – the products you receive have cash value, right? 🙂

Today’s site is: HouseParty.com.

House Party offers Party Packs chock full of goodies sponsored by specific brands.  In exchange, you have a house party with several friends and share your  feedback after trying out the products.  You don’t pay anything or sell anything.

How to Earn: 

Simply apply to host a party featuring a specific brand and, if selected, you’ll get a Party Pack full of exclusive goodies and coupons to share with your friends on a specific date.

What You Can Earn: 

Brands that have been featured in the past: Kraft foods, Green Works, Ziploc, Martha Stewart, Qdoba, Gevalia and much more.

I hosted a DiGiorno party a few years ago and had a lot of fun handing out free products and great coupons to my friends.  I know several readers who have been selected to host parties as well.   (Have you?  Tell us about it in the comments!)

Tips:

How to Earn: 

• Sign up for Ibotta and download the app on your smartphone.
• Link any participating loyalty cards that you own
• Before you head to your participating store (click here to see the current list of participating retailers), check for offers on your favorite products and click REDEEM.
• If shopping at a store with a participating loyalty card, simply use your loyalty card at checkout to claim your rebate.
• If shopping at a store without a participating loyalty account: After shopping, scan your bar codes and take a picture of your receipt and upload it on the Ibotta app.
• Your cash should be deposited into your Ibotta account within 48 hours.

What You Can Earn: 

Once you’ve redeemed offers totaling $20 or more, Ibotta lets you cash out. You can opt to take your earning as PayPal cash or a gift card to retailers like Starbucks, Regal, iTunes and more. To claim your earnings, click on “Cash Out’ and then select the rewards you would like.

Tips:

• Use your referral link to invite friends to Ibotta.  As soon as your friend redeems 1 offer, you’ll earn $5 and they will earn $10. Click on “Activity” then “Invite Friends” to send your referral link to your friends.

Note: The Ibotta app is available for Apple and Android devices.

Sign up for SavingStar to save digital grocery coupons directly to your store loyalty cards. There is also now a SavingStar app that allows you to earn rewards at even more stores!

How to Earn: 

Each time you redeem an eCoupon, the total will be deposited into your Savingstar account.

What You Can Earn: 

Once you reach $5 in savings, you can cash out as a bank deposit or Paypal cash.

Tips:

• Go ahead and clip all the e-Coupons when I post them.  They need to be clipped beforehand in order to be credited and you never know when you might need them.
• Be sure to add all of your grocery store/drugstore loyalty cards to make the most of SavingStar.
• My favorite offers are the ‘Buy x amount of something before a certain date and get $5 in your account.’  These types of offers can be combined with coupons to score great deals!
• Every Friday, SavingStar offers a Friday freebie which makes an item totally free after SavingStar deposit. This is a great way to add to your totals.

How to Earn: 

Jingit is a VERY simple way to earn money online by watching ads and taking surveys.  If you have a Smartphone, you can also download the mobile app and earn even more when you scan select products at Walmart.

What You Can Earn: 

Each ad that you watch or check-in that you complete will earn you cash – from $0.05 – $0.25 or so.  Once you request your Jingit Visa Debit card, you can add your earnings directly onto your card.  Click here to find out how to add money to your Jingit Visa.

Tips:

• Sign into your Jingit account daily to see if there are new ads.  Some ads can be watched once per day and others can only be seen once.
• Be sure to download the mobile app if you have a Smartphone and complete check-ins for more earning opportunities.
• There is a $3 fee for the card, which will be deducted from your Jingit account once you reach $3 and request our Jingit Visa.  Once you reach $3, you can add all other money right to your card.
• Invite friends using your referral link to increase your weekly earn limit.

Today I’d like to introduce you to mTurk, which is run by Amazon.com.

I have been fascinated by this online earning opportunity ever since a reader told me about it.  Here’s what she had to say:

I recently discovered mturk.com, which is run by amazon. It has tasks that you can do and the pay ranges from a few cents apiece to several dollars. I only spend a half hour or maybe an hour depending on how bored I am and earn a few dollars. I have earned $30 so far, mainly doing surveys that pay around a dollar, sometimes I will do the data entry tasks but not many of them pay super well for the time they take-but it kills time…Anyway, Because it is run by Amazon you have the option of withdrawing your earnings in the form of Amazon giftcards, which are applied directly to your linked Amazon account, or you can have the funds deposited to your bank acct..The giftcard is instant, the bank transfer takes like 5 days.

How to Earn: 

I decided to sign up and give it a try.  Once I filled out the sign-up form, it took a couple of days to get approval.  As soon I was approved, I tried out a couple of HITS.  Each took less than a minute and I earned $0.06 total. It’s not a lot, but I can see how it could add up if I just took a few minutes every day to work on a simple HIT.

What is a HIT?  A  HIT (Human Intelligence Task) is a question that needs an answer. A HIT represents a single, self-contained task that a Worker can work on, submit an answer, and collect a reward for completing.

What You Can Earn: 

You can earn cash which you can choose to disburse to your U.S. bank account or to an Amazon.com gift certificate balance.

Tips:

• You will need to enter your Social Security number because of tax purposes.  If you are uncomfortable with doing that, then this online earning opportunity probably isn’t for you.
