Welcome to Day 6 of our 31 Days to Earn Extra Cash Online series!

Let’s talk about Swagbucks.

If I were writing this series in order of my favorites, Swagbucks would have to be number one.  I have used Swagbucks to earn hundreds of dollars of Amazon, Starbucks, CVS, and other gift cards since I first signed up in 2009.

The biggest reason why I love Swagbucks?  It requires very little time.  You could easily expect to earn at least $5 in Amazon gift cards each month by only spending a few minutes per day participating.   Or spend a few more minutes each day and earn even more.

How to Earn: 

Swagbucks is an online search engine that rewards you for searching online.  You can download their toolbar or download their OS and Android apps for more opportunities to earn.  You can also opt to simply search at Swagbucks.com if you’d rather not download the toolbar.

In addition, you can earn even more by watching videos, playing games, taking surveys and more – as you do these activities, you’ll earn Swag Bucks, which are reward points that you can redeem for all sorts of gift cards in the Rewards Store. Choose the activities you like or have time for – how much you earn is up to you!

What You Can Earn: 

My all-time favorite reward is the $5 Amazon gift card since you can earn it with only 450 Swag Bucks.  Click on the ‘Rewards’ section of the Swagbucks site to check out their wide variety of rewards from PayPal cash to gift cards to jewelry to electronics and more.

Tips:

• Check out my tips on the Easiest Ways to earn Swagbucks.
• Swagbucks often releases Swag Codes valid for a few Swag Bucks on their Facebook page, their Twitter page, their blog and elsewhere.  Add these to your account by clicking on the Swag Codes button at the top right of the site.  These are valid for a limited time, so you’ll want to hurry – and make sure to share them with the rest of us!
• Receive 10% of everything your friends earn for each person that you refer.  Look for the ‘Refer Friends’ tab at the top of the page to get your referral link.

You may know that Recyclebank offers great coupons for points earned, but did you know that you can save up your points for rewards like Amazon, CVS, and Starbucks gift cards as well?

How to Earn: 

Recyclebank offers monthly free points-earning opportunities.  You can check the ‘Earn Points’ section to find the latest earning opportunities.  If you live in a participating location, you can also earn points as part of their recycling program.

What You Can Earn: 

Click on the ‘Rewards’ section of the Recyclebank site to check out their rewards. They vary by region and can run out of stock from time to time, but typically you can find high value grocery, retail and dining coupons, magazine subscriptions, gift cards.  Some rewards can be printed at home and others will arrive via mail.

Tips:

• Use your referral link to refer your friends. Get 25 points per referral.

Welcome to the first day of our 31 Days to Earn Extra Cash Online series!

Today I’d like to talk about Upromise.

Upromise is a free service that allows you to earn money in your account when you shop at participating retailers.  It’s a really easy way to earn money back on purchases you already make.

How to Earn: 

Add your grocery cards to the account and then clip monthly eCoupons.  Purchase those products at one of the stores in your account and Upromise will credit your account.

By adding your credit or debit card you can add money to your account when you shop, buy gas or dine at participating retailers.

You can also sign up for a Upromise credit card for additional savings (although I have not tried this method).

What You Can Earn: 

The money in your Upromise account will remain there until you determine how to use it.  You can opt to:

• Invest in a high-yield savings account or tax-deferred 529 plan
• Pay down a college loan
• Request a check

Tips:

• Click on the ‘Invite Your Friends and Family’ link to get grandparents, aunts and uncles, and friends to sign up and start earning for you.

Today I want to share about a very popular survey company: MySurvey.

Many people report very positive things about this survey company – here’s what one reader had to say:

Plink is a new Dining Out rewards program which allows you to earn online rewards for dining out and shopping offline.

How to Earn: 

Earn points with Plink by selecting where you want to eat or shop and adding those offers to your ‘Plink wallet’.  Plink will activate those offers on your credit or debit card. You can even earn points multiple times per location.

Right now, when you sign up through this link, you’ll earn 300 FREE points when you register a card.

What You Can Earn: 

Click on the ‘Rewards’ section of the Plink site to check out their current rewards – iTunes , Amazon, Walmart, Kohls gift cards and more for as low as 500 points.

Tips:

• Be sure to link up the credit/debit card that you typically use when eating out/shopping.
• Use your referral link to refer your friends. Get 100 points per referral that successfully joins (up to 50).

I’m starting the series with an oldie but a goodie: MyPoints.

I’ve been with MyPoints for about 7 or 8 years now, and I credit them with giving me my first glimpse into the world of earning extra cash and gift cards online.  Seems like a a good place to start!

How to Earn: 

Earn points with MyPoints by reading e-mails, signing up for offers, taking surveys, and shopping through their site.

What You Can Earn: 

Click on the ‘Rewards’ section of the MyPoints site to check out their vast array of rewards from an extensive list of merchants – PayPal cash, Amazon gift cards, restaurant and retail shopping gift cards and more.  Over the years, I’ve redeemed my points for hundreds of dollars worth of gift cards.

Tips:

• It takes some time for your points to add up, but check your emails daily for points-earning opportunities.   I’ve earned most of my points from the emails that give me 5 points simply for clicking the offer.
• Check their easy points section which offers points for things like signing up for newsletters and taking surveys.
• I don’t recommend spending money to earn points unless it’s for something you planned on purchasing anyway.
• Use your referral link to refer your friends. Get 25 points per referral and earn 10% of their eligible points.

I am excited to announce the start of a new series that I’ve been working on behind the scenes.

I am a BIG fan of finding creative ways to bring in extra income each  month.  In fact, I’ve been a member of online rewards programs and survey companies since before either of those was cool. 🙂

The way I look at it is this:

We all spend time online – why not earn cash for doing so?

My goal with this series is to introduce you to my favorite online methods for earning some extra spending money each month.    You may already know about some of them, but I think everyone will be introduced to something new.

My hope is that by the time the series is done, you’ll know which ‘free money’ opportunities are your favorite!
